It’s a rare thing to be presented with a clear example of right vs wrong. If there is one stand out example of our troubled times, it is the crackdown on Hong Kong. Hong Kong Free Press is a call to recognise those who are fighting the good fight and to acknowledge our own failures to do the same.

When the song was written in the summer of 2019, everyone was watching the one million people demonstrating on behalf of democracy. Since then we’ve turned our heads to our own problems, finding out the threat was much closer to home than we thought.
